53% of voters are ready to support Trump in the upcoming elections – Washington Examiner
The political juggernaut that is former President Donald Trump’s campaign is making waves across the country. In a remarkable turn of events, Trump has garnered a strong lead in the general election generic vote, securing the support of 53% of likely 2024 voters, as reported by Washington Examiner.
This news arrives on the heels of a Morning Consult survey, which positioned him as the frontrunner in the GOP race, boasting a remarkable 61% approval rating. A Rasmussen Reports survey also indicates that a majority of voters are inclined to cast their ballots in his favor and this includes Democrats.
When questioned about their likelihood of voting for former President Donald Trump in the upcoming 2024 presidential election, 30% of Democrats responded with “very” or “somewhat likely.”
Moreover, the choice of Trump’s running mate appears to be of minimal concern to the voters. When asked whether the selection of a vice-presidential candidate would significantly impact their decision to vote for Trump, 57% of likely voters indicated that it would not.
The remaining voters had varying opinions on whether the running mate should be a woman, a black individual or a nonpolitician.
